The Effects of Calling in “The One” on Our Committed Love Relationship: Calling in “The One” Coach Marilyn Hager

Feminine Power Coach Marilyn Hager AdlemanThe effects of “Calling in the One” principles and practices on our marriages can result in very positive outcomes.  At first glance, the idea of being an empowered, adult woman can be threatening to a marriage. However, the result is a beautiful balance that increases the health and well-being of both partners. I was recently asked for guidance from one of my clients who was feeling concerned about her marriage—mostly about needs that were unmet and ways that she realized she had ignored things in the past.

I well understood this concern about the relationship shake-up. This was also one of my own challenges early-on in embracing this body of work. I really loved my husband and didn’t want to sacrifice our connection for my awakening evolution. I worried that I would grow beyond him, and fortunately, he stepped-up in a really awesome way.

I was so happy to realize that, in order to change my outer world, I must take 100% responsibility for who I was being for myself. Then, I saw that shift being mirrored back to me in all of my relationships. My partner is my biggest mirror because of our level of intimacy: physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

It was really helpful to our relationship to have my beloved start speaking through the same vocabulary and filtering everything through the same lenses that we use in this work.

I wonder, do you think your partner would be open to understanding the structures of life from the Calling in “The One” perspective if we didn’t frame it as a Feminine awareness?

We are basically talking about balance: using our masculine qualities when we need to be organized to build a structure and using our feminine through our creative thought and inspiration to the overall vision and artistic details.

My husband was very relieved when I explained it all to him in this way. We have both become much more balanced as individuals and our relationship echoes the same balance of power and inspiration.
